There's an important update from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) that could affect certain XPENG G6 models.The SEAI is introducing a change to the maximum vehicle price eligible for the €3,500 Electric Vehicle Purchase Grant.

The New Threshold: The maximum eligible vehicle price for the grant will be reduced from €60,000 to €50,000.

The Deadline: This new limit applies to all new grant applications received after 31 July 2026.

Important for Current Buyers: Any applications approved or submitted before 31 July 2026 will continue to be assessed under the previous €60,000 threshold.

The XPENG G6 Standard Range remains comfortably within the new €50,000 grant threshold.
